Windows 10: PC enters sleep mode while I play games

Hi, recently I had encountered a problem with my pc, namely when I play games it randomly enters sleep mode for some reason this doesn't happen while I browse the net. I tried it on 3 different games CSS, Team Fortress 2 and Assassin's Creed: Revelations and could only play a few minutes before the computer enters sleep mode and the screen doesn't turn on no matter what I do, I can hear the music in the background and the character shoots and moves but the screen is black yes my pc has the minimal requirements to run these games and no they're not on max settings. I then saw if the cable to the monitor was connected and there was no issue there but the error just kept happening. It happened numerous times in the past few days, I tried to uninstall and install the games again it didn't work, I installed windows 10 again that didn't work either. I checked windows to see if there's a virus but there was nothing in my pc. I'm guessing it's a hardware problem since the software is fine but I can't be certain. Can someone help?

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.

• Have you connected the external monitor to the Laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.

My pc sleeps for itself while i'm playing games

1. Are you playing the game using the keyboard or a gamepad?

2. Can you elaborate on the troubleshooting steps that you have performed to fix the issue?

3. Did you update your drivers after the installation of Windows 10?

If you are playing the games using a gamepad, I suggest that you try wiggling the mouse or hitting a random button on the keyboard every five minutes and check if your PC still goes to sleep. This will help us determine if the settings for the device is
