Windows 10: PC fails to boot after freeze

Windows 11 freezes while booting

Hello, I have a problem with my windows 11.

Sometimes my PC will freeze while boot, it only freezes if I:

• Turn on the PC
  
• Reset PC
  
• Reboot / Restart PC
  
• Restart for update
  
• Enter advance / Recovery mode
  

and how can I solve this problem because I'm resetting this PC. if this problem occurs during the process of course it will be damaged, as well as while updating windows.

Is there any solution for this issue?, i Will appreciate your suggestion.

@Maban - does GPU-Z fail the same way for you the way it does for me? I.e. total system freeze/lockup, requiring a hard reset?

@W1zzard - I will try the suggested steps later today, as I am not near that PC at the moment.

 

pc freezing and failing to boot

hello, i've encountered several issues with my pc lately and i've had the hardest time dealing with them , it started when i upgraded to win11 from win10 few months ago , my pc started freezing during the win11 installation and i had to do it over 8 times until i was lucky enough to install it before it froze , then after the successful installation of win11 the pc failed to boot , it kept freezing on the windows logo loading whenever i turn on the pc , i've had csm on and all necessary bios options for windows 11 but it still froze until i searched online and tried so many solutions and the only thing that worked was disabling global c-state in bios , when i did that it booted normally , but i still get occasional freezes during my use of the pc in random times, especially when im not using it and its idle , if i played a game or used the pc non stop it wouldn't freeze , leave it for 5 seconds and it freezes right away , i did a ram check , a stress test for the cpu and all looked well , later on i decided to get back to win10 thinking my issues will go away but it didn't.

currently i have win10 installed , if i enable global c-state in bios settings which is enabled by default , my pc would freeze on the windows logo loading screen , and when i disable it i can normally log into windows but i still get random freezes , sometimes it restarts 2 seconds after the freeze and some other times it stays frozen until i have to restart it manually from the button.

no oc for the cpu/gpu , tried to disable/enable xmp several times to test if it solves it and it didn't.

there are 2 critical errors in windows event viewer and im not sure if its the main cause but i thought i'd mention them:

note: sometimes i never get freezes for a week and then 1 day i get over 10 freezes , if im gaming/streaming it never freezes , once im done streaming and start watching a video or anything else other than gaming it starts freezing again.
