  1. PC freezes after installation of new GPU and now with old GPU too

Hi yesterday I bought the rtx 4060 ti after I installed it for about 3 hours everything went fine. I tested some games to look how much the performance improved. My specs:32gb rami7 14700K Rtx 4060 ti 8gbMainboard: Asus Prime Z790-P 14th gen ready650W PSUBut now my whole pc hard freezes when I open a game. It even freezes several times for some seconds after reboot. I already reinstalled windows 10 without keeping any previous data. So I think it's a hardware problem. But now the thing is after I reinstalled my old GPU the gtx 1050 ti where everything went fine with before, the freezes keep hap

    :)

  2. Problems after new gpu

    • Previous Display adapters keep reinstalling after uninstalling (tried using DDU in safe mode.) Sometimes, it says the driver adapter can uninstall because its descendants refused to.
    • Valorant graphics look weird after installing new gpu (Valorant graphics looks normal after taking out the new gpu
It's my first time upgrading a pc so I don't know what to do.

  3. HDMI port in my gpu works in other pc but not in my new pc.

Just bought a new pc, has older gpu than mine but cpu is better.

    NOTE:
-New PC has no windows installed yet
-New PC Model is Lenovo R302PGD5
-Monitor only use VGA so I use a VGA - HDMI adaptor
-My old pc has GT 1030 (has no vga)
-New has GT 720 (has vga)

First time I tried the new pc with GT 720, it has no display when I plugged into the HDMI, but plugging into VGA has display.

Now I swapped the GPU to GT 1030, I plugged into HDMI, no display.

I think hdmi does not work in the new pc, but vga does/

I have now reconnected the GT 1030 GPU back to my old PC. Any suggestions or solutions for this problem would be appreciated.

BSOD before new GPU and PSU, more BSOD afterwards

(yes I asked chatGpt to make the post for me for fun!)

    Hello Microsoft Community,

I recently upgraded my GPU and PSU, hoping to improve my system's performance. However, I've been encountering a significant increase in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors since the upgrade. Prior to formatting and installing the new GPU, I did experience some occasional BSODs, which I attributed to driver errors. Since I had planned to format my system anyway, I didn't investigate further at the time.
I also encounter a lot of frame rate drops, mostly while playing games but also during normal usage.

Here are the details of my current situation:

    1. New GPU: I purchased and installed an AMD 580x GPU.
    2. PSU Replacement: I replaced my old PSU, which was approximately 10 years old, with a new one.
    BSOD Error Codes I've encountered:

    1. MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    2. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    3. PAGE_TEMPLATE_NOT_FOUND
    Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    1. Memtest86: I ran Memtest86 from a USB drive, and it reported zero errors.
    2. System File Checker (SFC): I ran the "sfc /scannow" command, which detected and fixed some errors.
    3. DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management): I executed the "DISM /cleanup /restorehealth /cleanup-image" command to ensure the system image was in a good state.
    4. Chkdsk: I ran a disk check using the "chkdsk" command.
    5. Disk Repair and Defrag: I performed disk repair and defragmentation.
    6. Driver Updates: I updated all drivers using Windows Update, and I also downloaded and installed the latest AMD drivers for my GPU (AMD 580x).
Despite undertaking these troubleshooting steps, the BSODs persist with greater frequency than before. I'm reaching out to the community for any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.
