Windows 10: PC freezes and hear a beeping sound when I click and not detecting operating system.

Recently my PC started to freeze randomly when gaming and even sometimes when just browsing the web. Sometimes I would hear a buzzing noise when it freezes, and I’m still able to hear my friends talking for a bit and when I click I heard a beeping noise. The only way for it to fix is for me to hold the power button down and restart. This worked for a while until suddenly it stopped detecting an operating system. I then had to get lucky in bios by messing with the boot priority or by restarting. I then ran system file checks, drive checks, updated drivers, even clean wiped my PC completely when

Intermittent Beeping Sound

I have a very peculiar problem - most likely related to an earlier question about the intermittent beeping sound after applying the Windows 10 updates. This was answered by a Microsoft agent but the original poster did not reply saying that the sounds
"disappeared" after the solution was proposed, so I have no idea whether it worked.

My problem is this: occasionally (and the period between events is completely unknown) my PC would emit a beeping sound through the system speaker. The PC may "freeze" for an instant - i.e., the cursor would not respond at all. I tried troubleshooting the problem
(including the solution proposed by the Microsoft agent) but the sound persisted. I did identify the sound - they were made by the "Device Disconnect" sound under the Windows Default scheme (activated through the Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Change
System Sound). The file which emits the sound is called 'Windows Hardware Remove.wav' and every time I used the 'Test' button, the familiar sound will play through the PC's system speakers.

What do you suggest I do to get rid of the sound? I find the sound irritating and the occasional freeze of the cursor is affecting the PC games that I play. Please help.

 

Single 'beep' sound in Windows 10

Has anyone ever experienced hearing a single beep sound in Windows 10? I've heard it twice in my laptop now, once while I was browsing, once while I was gaming. During the time I was gaming, the beep was followed by a game freeze and a crash. Nothing happened, however, when I was browsing and heard a single beep. What does a single beep sound (not consistent beeping) mean?
