Windows 10: PC freezes and requires hard restart to work after closing out of Steam game on Windows 11....

Hello everyone!I am in serious need of any assistance you can give me. I have been dealing with this issue for a while now and I have tried everything to fix it. I will describe the issue as well as I can. Let me know if there is any additional information I can provide.The issue is, it doesn't happen all the time, but when I go to close out of Counter Strike 2, it freezes my computer. My mouse is still able to move around but it doesn't let me click on anything. It will let me do certain things but everything is delayed by about 30 seconds and it keeps flashing back and forth between the diff

Need assistance with game crashes and freezes after changing PC location

I recently relocated my stationary PC, and since then, I've been experiencing issues with both Steam games and other games. Specifically, when launching Steam games, the loading screen freezes after a few seconds, causing Task Manager to crash, ultimately requiring a PC restart. Additionally, non-Steam games tend to close abruptly after 2-3 minutes of gameplay.

Error Message: No specific error messages are displayed; however, the loading screen freeze for Steam games prompts Task Manager to crash.

System Information:

• Operating System: Windows 11
  
• PC Specifications: GPU gigabyte R69xt gaming oc, CPU i5 13600k, etc.
  
• Game Platform: facing issues with Steam games or other gaming platforms like epic games
  

Actions Taken: I have already taken the following steps to address the issue:

1. Updated all drivers.
   
2. Attempted various troubleshooting methods found online.
   
3. Updated the BIOS to the latest version.
   

Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and I am unsure about the root cause. Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 

New Windows 11, many steam games will not display.

I have a new Windows 11 pc, I have Uninstalled steam, the games, reinstalled everything. I have tried using a different hard drive as well. I've read about so n e may update that turned off .net features and I followed what that article said and turned .net back on. Nothing will let most of the games play, the only game that will play is no man's sky. Don't even suggest verifying steam, or restarting the pc ior steam,,I'm well past that sort of suggestion.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Have you installed all the pending updates and driver updates on your device?
• Have you checked with the game compatibility and system requirements to access the games?

Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

I suggest to check with the system requirements to play the game.

Step 1: As you have already installed Steam in compatibility on Windows 10, I suggest to install the games in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Download the updated gaming software from the manufacturer's website.
• Right click the gaming software
  installation file and select Properties then tap or click the
  Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the game and check.

Step 2: Update Graphics Driver.

Download the latest drivers from manufacturer's website, try to install them manually and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right click on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.
• Click on Browse my computer for driver software and click on
  Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
• Follow on-screen instructions.
