Windows 10: Pc freezes for seconds after adding ram

I have recently added 28gb xpg gammix d10 3200mhz making a total of 32gb of ram and my computer just randomly freezes for about 1-3 seconds just browsing through the computer or just playing the game even cuts out audio during those seconds. If anyone can help me fix this issue i would highly appreciate it.Specs: Windows 11 home amd ryzen 7 5700 3.7ghz 16gb ddr4 memory nvidia GeForce rtx 3060 12gb 500gb pci-e nvme ssd 1tb hdd

Windows 10 hangs/freezes on Restart

If this happens even during installation, that means that it is probably a hardware issue. To troubleshoot the problem, I suggest doing the following steps:

1. Install Hard Disk Sentinel and use it to check your HDD/SSD for problems.
   
2. Use MemTest to make sure that your RAM is ok. Here is a how to - guide.
   

After You done these two steps, give a feedback of the results.

 

Will adding RAM will help to speed up my PC?

I think you are out of luck.

I searched HP site based on the "System SKU" shown in your picture. See link below.

2 RAM slots; max 8 GB total; max 4 GB in any single slot.

Which is what you have right now.

Probably just as well. Even if it supported more than 8, it's very tough to recommend upgrading a machine going into its second decade.

PC Freezes for 1-2 seconds when launching certain programs

The PC would freeze for a few seconds when I open certain programs the first time after waking the PC from sleep. It would not freeze if I open the program again after the first time, until I sleep the PC again. Programs that would freeze are e.g. MPC, Potplayer, etc.

-Clean Windows 10 install, twice
-Newest drivers
-New Monitor, New TV
