Windows 10: PC freezes often, requires a hard reboot to get started again.

Hello everyone,I recently less than a month ago purchased a new PC. The specs are the following:OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro System Model: B760 AORUS ELITE DDR4 Processor: 13th Gen IntelR CoreTM i5-13400F, 2500 Mhz, 10 Cores, 16 Logical Processors BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends International, LLC. F8, 10/16/2023 RAM: 32GBVideo Card: GeForce RTX 4060Power Supply: DA850 On the day I bought the PC Within an hour or so my PC froze and required a reboot. This was happening as I was watching a video. I didn't think much of it.Then it happened again and again, multiple times

Screen freezes randomly, requiring hard reboot

I've been working on this problem for months now. I have Windows 10 on a HP Envy desktop and using an HP display. It worked fine without problems for about 6 months. Then the
screen started freezing-- the pointer freezes, the PC becomes unresponsive.
When I power off by hitting the power button and restart, it works fine for a few minutes to hours to days without a problem. Then the problem will happen again randomly. I figured it probably happened after a Windows update, which are automatic.

Then about 5 weeks ago it got a new problem. The screen would suddenly start flashing on and off, and the PC was again unresponsive. After rebooting, it would work again for a few min-to-hours-to-days as with the previous problem. Finally it went to a blue
screen with endless circles and would not ever get past that point. SO, at this point
I wiped the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 10.

NOW I'm back to the original problem: the pointer freezes and the screen freezes, requiring a reboot from the power button. The only software I have installed since reinstalling Windows:

Mcaffee Live Safe

Microsoft Office

Chrome

HP Printer software

Adobe acrobat

The problem has been happening from the beginning though (right after I reinstalled windows). So, I figure that the screen freeze is a Windows problem. I've updated all drivers. I've searched all over this site, but no suggestions as to what to do. Can anyone
help?

 

Windows freezes on the revolving circle upon reboot

We understand your concern and we will provide the assistance required to help you resolve the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

• What happens if you do not restart when the blue circle freezes?
• Does the freeze happen only during reboot?

For now, I suggest that you place your computer in Safe Mode and reboot your computer and check if you still experience the freeze. To log into Safe Mode refer to the article provided in the link below

If you get the same symptoms in this mode as well, then I suggest that you check if you hard drive has any errors. To do so follow the steps below

1. Open This PC and then navigate to c: drive.

2. Right click on the drive and select Properties.

3. Then click on the Tools tab and under Error Checking
click on Check.

Windows 10 Randomly Freezes Requiring Hard Reboot. I have tried many fixes from power plan to clean reinstall. nothing seems to work. Brand new PC. Any help would be very helpful.
