Windows 10: PC Freezes randomly, but audio continues to play as if nothing happens

On and off for the past while, my PC would randomly freeze up. However, the audio of whatever game/music I was listening to would still continue. Not only that, but music players such as Spotify would even respond to me playing and pausing on my phone. I've updated all of my drivers, windows updates, BIOS, everything. I can't find any glaring leads in Event Viewer either. I'm not sure where to start with this, so any help would be appreciated. pc randomly freezes but audio continues to play in the background

so my pc randomly freezes just doing normal things and if i have a video or audio playing i can still hear the audio just fine even though my whole PC is frozen.

is there a way i can check some sort of logs to figure out why im freezing?

update: i checked "Control Panel\System and Security\Security and Maintenance\Problem Details" and i got this

PC freezes, audio continues, PC auto restart

It happens randomly.
Scenarios that happened:
- Booted up my PC, left it there and went to take a nap. When i woke up, it was just there frozen, not sure for how long.
- Watching videos and logged into games to check my dailies. After closing the game, i just continued watching my show. Suddenly my PC started lagging, audio started lagging. PC freezes, audio plays as per normal. I manually restarted it.
- Just happened: I turned off Overwatch2. Watched some videos, PC lags then proceed to freeze but audio plays as per normal. I tried rebooting by pressing the power button and holding it but for some reason it didnt work. just left it there and went to the washroom and when i came back, it auto restarted. below is the DMP file that got generated from incident.

PC randomly freezing

Hey TPU, i give you a challenge. Lately my computer has been freezing for no reason (or so i think) I have noticed that it happens mostly when im playing CounterStrikeSource and Left 4 Dead 2. Just to let you know, its not freezing that happens for a couple of seconds, its a full on, "your computer needs to be restarted" type of freezing.

64 bit windows 7
XFX 4890 XT @900/1000
AMD X4 II @ 3 Ghz
4 corsair 800mhz DDR2 Ram


Any suggestions or input?
