    Pc freezes randomly


    My PC freezes randomly. Keyboard mouse everything becomes irresponsive. I've checked all of my hardware, seems they're working perfectly fine. So I'm thinking about a bios update. As my current bios is 3 years old and the manufacturer is recommending a bios update in the product webpage. But I'm facing this problem where it says OEMID MISMATCH while trying to flash bios. Why is this happening? I'm sure I'm downloading it from the right product page. The motherboard model isGigabyte h410m s2h revision 1.0 And I'm downloading the bios from this webpage https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H410M-

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.

    • Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
    Furthermore, we suggest that you do a BIOS update to your computer. Here are the steps:

    • Check the motherboard manufacturer's website to find the specific model of your motherboard.
    • Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
    • Look for the computer model that you're using.
    • You should find any available BIOS update.
