Windows 10: PC Freezing - HELP

Hi all.


I've got a brand new PC that's intermittently freezing without blue screen or any error codes and I can't figure out why.


The machine specs are:


Intel Core i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz

16GB DDR4 Ram 2 x 8GB

480GB SSD

Geforce GTX 1650 4GB graphics card

Windows 10 Pro ver 20H2 build 19042.867


The first day I had the machine, it froze a couple of times while installing software. I removed and reinserted the graphics card and RAM just in case something had slightly come loose in transit but still the problem continues.


It happens more if I'm playing a game - quite a number of different games have the issue - all of which the system is more than sufficient to handle specification-wise.

If anyone can possibly help - I've tried reinstalling Windows and the problem remains. I've also installed temperature monitor software and nothing seems to be overheating or getting close to that so I'm baffled.
