Windows 10: PC freezing periodically with disconnecting hardware sound

Before I start, I want to note first that this does not happen when I'm in safe mode or if I uninstall the gpu drivers. So I think this may not be a hardware problem. I also never encounter any blue screens with this issue, it is just so annoying.I'm experiencing this issue even when my pc is on idle on the desktop, and it happens so randomly. I think it is also important to know that when the freezing happens, the audio do not stop in fact if it happens while I'm watching a video, the sound continues as it would so I'm thinking that the display may be the only one that is freezing not the ent

PC freezing with usb disconnect and reconnect sound

Recently my pc has been freezing and stuttering along with the usb disconnect and reconnect sound. I checked my display settings and noticed that a ghost monitor connects to the pc with a lower resolution. I also checked device manager and saw that whenever this problem occurs, a device called Generic non PnP monitor pops up on the monitors lists. This problem does not occur in safe mode. I have already fully reset my pc but the problem still persists. Is this a sign of a GPU failure?

There are various factors why sound may disconnect while using wireless headphone. It can be due to outdated sound drivers or corruptions. To better isolate your concern, kindly answer the following questions:

• Have you made any recent changes before this issue occur?
• Have you tried updating you sound drivers?
• Have you tried using another headphone and check if the issue still persist?

In the meantime, we suggest that you run the troubleshooter for Hardware and Devices. This will identify and diagnose technical issues. Follow these steps:

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard and select
  Control Panel.
• On the upper right part of the Control Panel window, type
  Troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Click View all.
• Click Hardware and Devices and follow the prompt to proceed with the troubleshooter.
• Restart your PC and check if the issue still persist.

WIndows 10 periodic hardware/software freeze

TL;DR: Every few minutes my computer's filesystem freezes, then the keyboard/mouse a minute later, then the screen ~5s later. When I change the power source everything goes back to normal.

FULL STORY: I have a new Acer Nitro 515-53 running Windows 10. Soon after getting it I started having an issue where many different systems freeze one after another. It generally happens like this:

• Elements of the Windows stops responding. There is no response when I try to open Windows search, the start menu, apps from the taskbar, etc.
  
• 30sec to several minutes afterward, the keyboard and mouse stop responding (but the screen still works).
  
• 5-10sec after that, the screen freezes.
  

The weirdest part: This is all fixed immediately if I change the power source (EITHER unplug it OR plug it in). When the power changes, it's as though all the commands I entered during the freeze get entered at once -- the mouse scurries around the screen, Windows search opens and closes, all my key inputs suddenly get entered.

It's getting pretty unbearable because at its worst this happens about once a minute. However, it sometimes stops for hours or days. (For some reason it's never happened to me while gaming, in case that matters.) I can't for the life of me find anything similar online, so I'm looking for any next steps you suggest
