Windows 10: PC froze and when rebooted it has zoomed 100% in with grayscale

So I was just using chrome and browsing the internet until one or maybe all of my fans on my pc kicked up to 100% and started making a racket. The screen went black and I force shut down the PC. I have a pc I built myself with a RTX 2060. When rebooting the pc the initial bios motherboard start up screen is fine and the windows logo is coloured and to scale. Then when it gets to the lock screen everything is scaled 40000% super zoomed in and also grey scale. The same thing continues once I login.

Badly zoomed in on all Office products and Explorer

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
• From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.

My displays changed to Grayscale.

• Which specific display are you referring to?
  • I am referring the image colour on my PC monitor. Every Icon on my Desktop is now in grayscale, and not colour. See image below.
• What program this concern is related to?
  • All. Everything displays in grayscale
• What was the previous color display you are referring to?
  • Previously, all Icons displayed in colour
• Could you please provide us more description of your concern?
  • Nothing displays in colour, grayscale only

Keeping a higher Zoom level than 100%

I would like to provide you with the information that The default zoom level can, in this native Windows browser, achieved by pressing Ctrl+0, which sets the zooming scale back to 100%.

I would suggest you to Reset Zoom level and then try setting zoom level to 100% and check if it helps:

Open Internet Explorer.

Press Alt + X and then click on Internet Options.

Click on the Advanced tab.

Place a check mark on "Reset Zoom level for new Windows and tab"

Press Apply and ok.

Close and open Internet Explorer window and check if the Default Zoom is set to 100 %.
