Windows 10: Pc giving no signal, Event viewer 6008 and 161

[COLOR=rgba26, 26, 27, 1]My pc stops producing video output roughly once a day. This started occurring after Nvidia’s last driver update. Every time the screen receives no input, I have to restart my pc. After that, it works fine for a few hours before it then decides to give no signal again. I took a look in event viewer and every time I see the following two codes: 6008 and then 161, just before the signal stops. Does anyone have a clue?[/COLOR]

Disabling Event ID 1074 to show up at event viewer

Hi RuskinF

I also worked with Event 6008, Although this event ID is used for dirty shutdowns / improper shutdowns I was able to stop the event from showing up on event viewer by disabling it at the Group Policy.

I was just wondering why it would stop showing up for event ID 6008 and not for Event 1074.

Spontaneous 6008 eventlog error and volmgr 161 while playing poe

So before those errors occur there's 10 kernal events two of those are kernal generals. But none of those errors are exclamation marks. Just eventlog 6008 and volmgr 161.
Kernel-boot: 153,18, 32, 20, 238, 25, 27,30. Kernel-general: 12, 20. And what heppens. Everything freezes and white screen sometimes starts to flicker. Sometimes instant restart heppens.
No BSOD

 

Error in Event Viewer

As you have mentioned, you have performed a repair installation on the computer and you see Event 508, 510 and 533 in Event Viewer.



I would like to inform that if you see any critical error in Event Viewer, please share the event logs with us to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps mentioned below to share the event logs:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   Applications.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now, look for a critical Error in the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.
