    PC goes back to password log in screen if not in use ffr 30 seconds or a minute.


    My PC reverts to the screen associated with the entry of the password after about a minute when I'm not working. I have tried several methods listed by the question host with no luck--other ideas?

    Log in/Sign in every 30 seconds

    Hi,

    One of the possible cause, why your laptop asks you to re-log in, is because of the current power option set on your system.

    Can you tell us if your laptop goes into sleep mode after 30 seconds?

    If so, kindly follow the steps to further isolate the root cause of this issue.

    • Type Power & sleep in the search bar, then click on it.
    • Check if your current power option is set for your device to go into sleep mode after 1 minute.
    • Change it to never and see if the issue will occur.

    Black Screen after Log on


    Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

    So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?
