Windows 10: PC goes dark after login windows 8.1 presumably ASUS laptop

My PC is going dark after login I am using 8.1 it appears I have an ASUS as my laptop I am not able to prompt any options, but task manager with Ctrl alt del I think it must have done an update and went dark every time after following a loginI want to fix the issue from homeGraphics appear until login

Laptop Screen goes dark when I Plug in or plug out.

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Outdated or corrupt driver.
• Missing Windows Updates.

Try the steps listed here:

Method 1:

I suggest you to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it helps.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download and install all the latest device drivers including graphics and chipset driver from the computer manufacturer website.

ASUS all in one PC hanging after login with black screen

ASUS all in one PC hanging after login with black screen – desk screen never coming

PC: ASUS ET2321I 2013 with windows 8.1
Observations:


1. Issue was observed first time when customer powered on PC on June 6. Before that desk screen was coming up OK.
2. PC boots OK
3. 10-20 seconds after user login screen goes black and stays there for more than 8 hours (I have not waited longer)
4. Mouse, keyboard and alt ctrl del working fine – task manager works fine and shows 99% idle
5. Tried to boot using all of the startup options F1-F7 – same issue
6. When booting in safe mode with command prompt I see no LAN connection – ipconfig does not show anything
7. Seeing some updates now and then
8. When booting from windows 8.1 usb and performing repair result is that windows can not be repaired. All info in log file is OK.

Any suggestions?

My Asus laptop turns off just after I login

My Asus laptop turns off just after login in windows 10 in normal mode. No message for turn off, no error message. It takes only 1 or 2 seconds to power down. Other details are as under.

• I can login and use the laptop in safe mode
• I can login and use the laptop on Linux
• I can not use laptop in windows in normal login.

What could be the reason? In my opinion the battery is the reason. Any opinion?
