Windows 10: Pc goes to black screen, no mkb function upon win10 install at restart prompt

PC goes to black screen on windows 10 install. Mouse and keyboard become unresponsive. This is a reinstall from installation media USB. MCT file is 2 days old. I get image when booting from installation media, mkb responsive at that point. It seems to be that when the installation wishes to restart the computer, this happens. There is no reset switch on board, chassis, even though newer, didn't come with one. Only power switch. I have been trouble shooting this issue for three days now. I bought a brand new m.2 nvme ssd because initially it appeared that my original might have become faulty.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a software related issue which is why I was suggesting that you remove the video card to start with since it's such an easy process of elimination step.

I'm not familiar with AMD CPUs, I did see that you had listed in your system specs but I had no idea whether or not it has an iGPU

Is there any possibility of you being able to get your hands on any compatible video card at all?it would be the easiest step to try to troubleshoot or at least one of the easier ones. You should be able to get into the bios without anything but A display cable hooked up to the motherboard

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Screen goes black?!

Hey guys
I would appreciate your help.
Lately while using the pc either in gaming or internet screen goes black. the computer works (it wont restart or something)
i got rampage iv extreme edition.
fault code on the motherboard is: 40 - OEM post memory initialization codes
i have to restart the pc to make it work.
any ideas?
