Windows 10: PC half loads some apps like microsoft store and websites like youtube doesnt load

Randomly my PC has stopped loading apps very specific ones i dont know why, also it doesnt load sites like youtube. I have completely reset my PC whiped everything and i still have the same problem. I have tried windows ISO and that doesnt work and the problem never occured before, i didnt download any viruses or do anything to my settings but it just randomly did that 2 days ago. Also i have updated everything and i have no clue on what to do

Can't get Youtube to show videos in Chrome

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.

 

Browsers are not able to load Streaming Services, YouTube, and some websites.

I have tried literally everything including being on Microsoft support for hours trying to figure out what is wrong with my computer.

(Quick backstory)

I have owned PC's for years and fixed them whenever something went wrong. Now, I have come across a problem that is eluding me to no end.

Here is the issue:

I am unable to load streaming services like Netflix, HBOmax, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount Plus, Peacock, etc. I am also unable to load YouTube videos unless they are in 144p quality which is barely visible and even then I am experiencing and overwhelming amount of buffering. Now, if I download the apps that are available through the Microsoft Store then I am able to download and enjoy these things. Certain ones are still unavailable like YouTube, HBOMax, and Peacock. I am able to play games that require a lot of internet, and I am able to load websites that do not have too much on them like ads. I pay for high end internet for education purposes and I am also able to view everything completely fine through everything else in the apartment.

Here is what I have done off the top of my head:

• Loaded in SafeBoot.
  
• Completed a Factory Reset
  
• Cleared DNS Cache
  
• Updated both Display and Network Drivers
  
• Checked for packet loss through CMD Prompt where I receive packet loss on some sites but not on others.
  
• Disabled Windows Firewall
  
• Reset Windows Network Socket
  
• Performed "netsh int ip reset" on CMD Prompt
  

All of these methods were unsuccessful so, please if anyone has any advice please let me know.

 

Microsoft Store App not loading

We understand the concern as you are unable to access Microsoft Store.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)

• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
  

However, we can try a few steps and check.



Step 1:
Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.



Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.



Step 2:
Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 3: Running PowerShell Command

1. Press Windows + X key and select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Copy and paste this command, then press enter:
   Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
   
3. Restart PC and check.

Step 4: New user account

If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to create a new administrator user account and check, refer this article to
create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.
