Windows 10: PC Hangs on Every Reboot Attempt, It is Impossible to Install Feature Updates

Hello World,I've had this issue for almost two years now. I will try to provide as much detail that seems relevant. Please keep in mind that I have had this issue and been searching for a solution this whole time, so I've tried a lot of the simpler things like updating drivers and unplugging peripherals.My PC ASUS ROG GL502VS Laptop, 4 years old, purchased refurbished, 16GB Ram, 256 M2 SSD, 700GB HDD, Windows 10 Home 64bit Version 1909Executive Summary:Laptop Cannot reboot, it can shut down and then be started, but the "restart" option always leaves it hanging on the splash screen. Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

 

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

 

Windows 10 update hangs on downloading updates at 98%

Hi vinodh,

In step 3 you state to press enter after after each command but its written like one sentence,could you list them so we can identify each command please.my pc just hangs on "checking for updates" so i installed the win 10 updater and that just hangs on 99%
so i will try what you suggest above.
