Windows 10: PC has started losing video output followed by a freeze ~60 seconds later

This started happening on 8/17, and seems to happen whenever I open a game but strangely, not when using 3D editing software like Blender. I was also able to run Fallout New Vegas for several hours until the software itself crashed, but New Vegas is already known for doing that. It's also not very graphically intensive. I suspect it might have something to do with a failed update which occurred on the 15th. Bring Back WMM6 with 60 FPS output options


Those of us who have done lots of fun video editing with Windows Movie Maker 6 know that it is the best User Interface ever created by Microsoft. It also works well on Windows 10. A very fast installation into the Programs Folder. (64 bit version can still be downloaded - do a google search)

I would like to see Microsoft bring it back as "their" free download with some extra features. Mainly, the 60 FPS output file. I don't even care if they keep the final output file as a .WMV. Anyone can convert that file for other devices very easily.

My total wish list on this program is as follows: No need to upload directly to Video sites, save to PC only, 60 FPS rendering option, more/different transitions and special effects AND most importantly, keep the User Interface just as elogently simple and clean as it currently is.

• What is the format of the videos you are trying to play?
• Does this happens with all other videos as well?

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar and select it.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Video Playback

• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update your graphic card drivers.

I suggest you to update graphic drivers and check if it helps. Follow the steps given below.

PC keeps freezing, videos load but wont play, audio input and output problems

I've just bought a new pc (Razer Blade 15 base Windows 11) in december. But I have a bunch of problems with it.

• It keeps freezing randomly a couple minutes after i turn it on. Mouse usually works but everything else is frozen
  
• Videos sometimes wont play even though i tried 3 different browsers and multiple websites. The videos load, I can see the previews on youtube for example. But it keeps loading and wont play. Usually starts working after restarting 3-10 times.
  
• Audio sometimes wont work. Both input and output. Again it starts working after restarting a bunch of times but it keeps happening again
  

I have tried looking for malware with malwarebytes, hitman pro, rkill, tdskiller. Also ran them in safe mode.

I've rebooted and tried systemrecovery. I've tried windows troubleshooting device but even when it fixes something it just happens again later.

what do i do?
