  1. PC has sudden downtime

Hello! For the last couple nights at exactly 2am, my pc has not worked properly. It just kicked me out of my game, and I can’t reopen it. It also makes my Discord bug out for a while, it lags and then it comes back on but that’s bare minimum. My steam takes ages to connect to internet and I can’t open any games back up. Chrome also barely works, and usually gives me a network error. My PC has an ethernet cable and I’ve checked the internet it’s connected to, which is working fine. I’m not sure what is going on but would like to figure this out so I can get back on my game. The PC seems to work

    :)

  2. Setting “downtime” on a PC

I am a Mac user but we just bought our son a PC. I would like to set up parental controls to be able to “sleep” the computer at night similar to downtime on a Mac device. How can I do this? Can I remote control the PC from my Mac? Can I set parental controls to lock down the pc at a certain time every night?

  3. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
