Windows 10: PC Health check says I have 1 CPU core - but I have an 11th Gen IntelR CoreTM i9-11900K

I cannot upgrade to Windows 11 24H2 because apparently I have only 1 core on my PC and I need a minimum of 2.Yet I have an 11th Gen IntelR CoreTM i9-11900K CPU which INTEL says has 24 cores !!Why is PC Health check saying I have only 1 core ?Can I proceed anyway with the upgrade based on the Intel spec of the CPU ?

Core i7 10th or 11th Gen CPUs

Hi Microsoft:

Why don't the Core i7, specifically, the 10th or 11th Gen CPUs have integrated graphics ? I checked several websites (newgg.com.......amazon.com....) none of them sell Core i7 CPUs with integrated graphics.

 

Is there a true PCI 4.0 motherboard for Intel's Gen 11 cpu's?

Note that with the 11th gen CPUs, these will enable PCIe 4 on some of the 400 series motherboards. You would need to check the specs for your specific MB to determine if this is the case for your MB, but I've already seen a number of MBs update their specs to indicate PCIe 4 support when upgrading to an 11th gen CPU.

I'm currently building a system based on 11th gen i9-11900K. I have every single part here already, just no CPU. Orders and shipping for the i9 start tomorrow (Mar 30, 2021).
