  1. PC infrequently crashes

it like to randomly, rarely crash, the crash is usually it'll freeze on a frame, then continue for one second before freezing entirely again, no audio is played throughout this problem, its just one frame, nothing is responsive, except holding the power button.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

  3. PC randomly, infrequently crashes.

I used to have crashing problems a while ago, but i seemed to have fixed them up until recently. Every now and then, very infrequently (happens maybe once a month with everyday use) my PC will lock up and freeze. There will be a small blue rectangle in the
top left corner of the screen, the audio will freeze and repeat a single sound until i force my pc to turn off through the power button. Below is the windows reliability report, and here is the windows minidump:

    PC infrequently crashes

    Infrequent Freezes/Crashes

    Hello,

I've been having infrequent crashes/freezes for a while now. I've mostly been trying to sort this out on my own but I've hit the limit of my tech literacy at this point.

The last five crashes I've had have all thrown up event ID 1001 bugcheck reboots and I've attached the dump files generated. Beyond that I'm not really sure if anything else will be useful. I can't see any events showing up that look like they'd be connected but that doesn't mean much.

    Any help would be appreciated.
