The issue started a few days ago and usually occurs when I start a game. My screen flickers for a second, then goes black showing "Signal not detected, going to sleep", which indicates that the video signal has dropped randomly, but the pc is still operating in the background for a minute, I can hear audio. Usually between 5-30 seconds the pc then crashes. I've tried updating to the latest NVidia drivers, and rolling back to older drivers from January, neither appeared to help. I used DDU both times to remove the current drivers. I also ran MemTest86 twice and no memory errors were detected. I

    4870x2 won't display at 1680x1050 at all!

OK. Now I know what ur problem is. Step by step:
    1. Go to Catalyst Control Center
    2. Click on the word "Graphic" right on top left corner. It will display drop down menu
    3. Click on Display monitor and will see the list of monitor at near bottom
    4. Right Click the monitor and select "Configure". It will show up the window
    5. There will be 3 option to select. Select the middle one and then click on the tab which show the bar with 15%.
    6. Drag the bar to max, and the screen will stretch to the native resolution 1680x1050.
    7. Also click the tab with showing RGB drop down list and select the last one (it will change to image quality for pc).
    That's it. Good Luck.

Windows 10 BSODing without writing minidump

    I got a minidump now.

I used a brand new ssd and installed a fresh windows 10 on it, updated it, installed the latest nvidia + motherboard drivers.
installed the minimal amount of softwares and used the computer.
After 3 days it bsoded and this time generated a minidump (again a dpc_watchdog_violation)

    here it is :

    Dropbox - 062123-21453-01.dmp - Simplify your life

google says that it could be caused by a corrupt system file, I doubt it given that this is a fresh installation.
