Windows 10: PC is detecting USB every second and dont stop

My computer is detecting USB being insserted constantly without me doing anything, the "new hardware dettected sound" sounds every 2 seconds, an icon of unrecognized usb appears during split second in the task bar.


Even when both usb ports are being used, the computer still detects new usb, i already restarted the pc... still nothing


when i disabled the USB root hub (USB 3.0), the sound stops, but then i cannot use my mouse or usb... and im not disabling the notification sound because i dont want to ignore the problem, i want it solved; and disabling the driver doesnt tell me which port ( usb 1, usb 2, usb-c, HDMI, VGA, SD-card) is the one going crazy.


i dont know if its wise to unninstall and then reinstall the usb root hub driver... ... but i dont know where to get the driver again and dont know if its universal or depend on the manufacturer.


when i went to the device manager, the list refreshes like crazy too at same time the notification sounds.


i would really appreciate help with this as soon as possible


i add that my usb devices dont stop working even when the notification ( phone charging and mouse)

Lenovo Flex 2-15 Windows 10. Stopped detecting second monitor

I realize that the computer is not detecting the second monitor. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

• 
  Does the second monitor support touch screen feature?
  
• 
  Have you updated the Touch pad driver on the main PC?
  
• 
  Have you installed all the pending updates on the computer?
  

Suggest you to plug in the monitor and run the hardware troubleshooter. Once this is done, restart the computer to check if this helps.

  Press “Windows key + X” to click on “Control Panel”.
  
• 
  Click on “Troubleshooting” and click on “View all”.
  

Click on “Hardware and Devices” to run the troubleshooter. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if this helps.

My PC cannot detect my pen drive

Hi,

Kindly provide us more details about the issue so we can assist you better:

• Were there any changes made on your PC prior to the issue?
• Have you tried connecting your pen drive to other devices to check if it's being detected?

In the meantime, we suggest that you do the following steps:

Method 1: Run the Troubleshoot Hardware and Devices

• Press Windows key + R and type Control Panel.
  
• Type troubleshooting in the search bar and click on
  Troubleshooting.
• Click on Hardware and Devices.
• Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.
  

Method 2: Uninstall and re-install USB drivers

• Press Windows key + R and type devmgmt.msc to open
  Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Right-click the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click on
  Uninstall to remove it.
• Repeat these steps for the entire USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
• Restart the computer. Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.
  

If the issue persists, download the latest USB drivers for your PC from the manufacturer's website.

Not detected by USB port - Garmin

I have a Garmin Forerunner 210 which has been driving me insane. It used to work fine and sync perfectly in the start, however it doesnt anymore.

I am using the Garmin Express program to sync as it is supposted to. However, it cannot detect/add my device. Nor can windows. It doesnt enter Mass storage mode, and disk management doesnt detect it either. However, it just goes into charging mode. Device itself works perfectly and tracks HR/GPS etc., but it is not detected as a storage device by the pc.

Things i've tried.
- Multiple Pcs with the newest Garmin Express (windows 10)
- Reinstall/clean install of Garmin Express.
- Cleaned the watches contacts/connection points etc.
- Reset/hard reset the watch
- Garmins suggestion on forcing software mode on the watch. (Turn it off and hold START/STOP while plugging into USB -> Just goes into charging again)
