Windows 10: PC is going to temporary blank screens when opening/closing programs

Hi so for recent context, after pulling apart my PC for cleaning I've had some issues with random reboots in the past few weeks but they seem to have been fixed when I got a new gold rated PSU.Now last night there was a power outage for about 5 minutes and my PC is plugged into the wall socket but afterwards everything ran as normal before hitting a blue screen of death after 3 hours.Next morning when I turn it on, at the lock screen or whenever I open or close programs, or even click the Windows button to try to open command prompt, it goes to a blank colored screen and jitter evident if I

Blank White Form Page Appears after closing a program in Windows 10

When I close a program in Windows 10 a white blank screen appears sometimes, not always.

If I go to Task View it shows me that it's a blank Form. I can then close the page by clicking on the upper right X. However, this extra step is annoying. How can I eliminate getting this blank form??

 

Windows 10 lock screen closes programs

Recently, when Windows 10 returns to the lock screen, all of my programs (e.g. Excel) are closed, any unsaved information is lost, and I must restart the programs upon entering my password at the lock screen. The behavior is as if, by leaving the computer idle, I clicked the "sign out" option (which I have not).

• Reverting to an old system restore point did not work.
  
• Using Win-L and then immediately entering my password does not close my programs. I don't know how long the delay is between going to the lock screen and my programs being closed
  
• I have no screen saver; the screen goes blank after 10 minutes; I have - to my knowledge - unchecked all instances of returning to the lock screen
  
• I do want the lock screen, as this is an office computer
  
• When booting to safe mode, the problem does not appear.

• My office computer is not on the institution's domain, although they do have one.
  
• I can confirm that the computer is not rebooting by checking that no events with IDs 6005 or 6006 occur at times when my programs close
  
• Starting the lock screen witn Win-L and waiting 15-20 minutes does not cause my programs to close. I not yet been able to check longer times; however, this is the only clue I have thus far to suggest that the program closing issue may not be attached to the lock screen.
  

I am not sufficiently familiar with the event viewer or task scheduling to check these systems for additional diagnostic information.

How do I continue to diagnose, and ultimately resolve, the issue of the Windows-10 lock screen apparently forcing all of my programs to close?

 

FIX SCREEN SO IT DOESN'T GO BLANK

I understand that the computer screen goes blank after sometime, I’ll certainly assist you with this.



However, please let us know:

• Do you see any error message on the screen when the computer screen goes blank?
  
• When you say “I need to fix it so that doesn't happen” how are you fixing the screen?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  

Meanwhile, you may want to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below:



If you are using a Desktop, then the first thing I would suggest you to do is check if the cables are connected properly.



Method 1: Refresh Graphics driver



I suggest you to try refreshing the graphics driver by using the key sequence
Windows logo key + Ctrl + Shift + B and see if that helps.



Method 2: Update graphics driver



I suggest you to try updating the graphics card driver and see if that helps. To do this, refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Display adapters.
   
3. Right click on the display driver and select
   Update Driver.
   
4. Restart the computer.
