Windows 10: Pc is laggy, HDMI no longer working and display is blurry after factory reset.

Very recently I factory reset my pc, not because it had any lag, or major issues but just because I wanted to reset everything. After reseting and reinstalling windows I found that my pc was very choppy with frames, and lagging a lot more than it did before. Additionally when changing my monitor setting from VGA/DVI to HDMIwhat i normally use the HDMI mode doesnt work, my monitor pops up with HDMI no signal. Also, everything is slightly blurry, im not entirely sure how to describe it other than that. I have tried uninstalling display driver and restarting.


My pc specs:

GPU - Radeon RX 460
CPU - AMD FX 8350

Motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M LX3

No Display During Factory Reset

I have a Windows 10 laptop whose screen is cracked, broken and unreadable. To use it, I have an external keyboard/mouse and an HDMI cord hooked up to a TV monitor. I decided to factory reset the laptop, but I'm four hours in and the display to the TV monitor no longer works; the TV cannot get a signal. I can see that the laptop is on because its screen is illuminated (again, just cracked and unusable). I have no idea what the progress of the factory reset is.

What should I do?

One possible reason why the HDMI sound does not work is due to the conflicts with the playback settings. For us to help you make the HDMI sound to work, we suggest that you answer the following questions for further research:

• Have you made any recent changes to your computer?
• What is the current build and version of your Windows 10?
• Have you tried to download and install the most updated sound and display driver of your computer?

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".
