PC is slow and keeps lagging, programs not responding, what should I do? (please read below...

on Tuesday, my PC was suddenly extremely slow and unresponsive. Games would freeze, internet browsers would load slow, Steam and other programs would stop responding after a few minutes. I thought this was a problem with my new SSD drive that I had recently installed, but that was not the case. Everything is laggy and extremely slow, keeps freezing, games are unplayable, programs are extremely slow and unresponsive. I have included a list of troubloeshooting that I have already performed but none worked. I performed Chkdsk and error checking on my C Drive, no issues were found. I ran error checking on my D drive and same result. However, chkdsk for D drive was very slow on step 4 and when I checked the event log, I saw an error regarding that. I also tried to de-fragment my C and D drive. My C drive worked fine but my D drive took hours, no result. However, while running de-fragmentation on my D drive I checked the event log and I saw a warning stating that my C drive could be potentially corrupted , but I had seen no errors prior to that. I am at a loss here, what else can I do? I appreciate all the feedback.

    Actions Performed:

    • Chkdsk /f /r /x on both my drives

    • Error checking on both my drives

    • Disk cleanup for both my drives

    • Optimize and de-fragmentation for both my drives

    PC Specs:

    • Nvidia GTX 980
    • Corsair RMx Series, RM650x, 650W, Fully Modular Power Supply, 80+ Gold Certified

Mouse keeps lagging and does not respond properly!

    Original Title: Mouse lag

So recently me and my cousin put together my first gaming pc. Everything seems to work fine except the mouse. It's a Reddragon M601 and I've had it since may. At first it worked fine but now it lags alot, sometimes it won't respond at all. It worked fine
on my laptop but my desktop doesn't seem to like it. I installed the latest drivers for it yesterday and it was working fine. But now it keeps lagging and doesn't respond at times. I've also re-download ed the driver as well as switching USB ports and nothing
seems to get this mouse from working.
