Windows 10: PC is stuck identifying working Ethernet cable no internet access

    PC is stuck identifying working Ethernet cable no internet access


    My pc can't identify the ethernet cable I have plugged in. It worked until yesterday when it just stopped working.


    I double-checked that the cable and modem port works by plugging into another computer.

    I thought it might be the ethernet port on my pc, but after buying a USB to ethernet adapter it still didn't work.

    Lastly, I uninstalled all my network adapter drivers and restarted my computer to reinstall them. This still didn't work.


    I'm out of ideas.


    Any help or ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
