Windows 10: Pc issue had Startup repair loop. Got a new SSD and windows install and started fresh. But...

Had this pc for 3 years no problems suddenly only booted to startup repair with no fix. Seems like lots of people have the same issue with no solution. SO Started fresh with new SSD and fresh windows install. And pc will crash during windows install, pc still boots to startup repair, and have gotten windows fully installed a few times but will crash and go to startup repair or will restart windows install. Ive tried cleaning the ssd with command prompt and restarting, ends up with same problems NO idea what to do at this point any idea please tell

Infinite loop of startup repair

When i start over do i do it on a seperate computer and install the os to usb a connect it to the Infinte loop pc?

Did you do a fresh install or an upgrade?

If you hold Shift and click Reboot, you can get into the advanced startup menu and attempt to perform a repair of the OS or rollback (if you enabled System Restore or upgraded).

You could right click the start button, which opens the admin menu, run Command Prompt (Admin) and type:

SFC /scannow

Verify your OS integrity is OK.

I am curious as to what's causing the reboot issue before we even worry about your apps. Are there any other issues showing up around the same time as the "system not shut down properly" event in Event Viewer? Filter it for alerts, error and critical.

If you want help with the apps, it would help to know what apps you're trying to run. Have you attempted a repair install or reinstallation of them? Do they require a runtime (Java, .Net, VB07,10,13, etc.) that may need reinstalled?

You mention not being able to run Task Manager, that concerns me that you have a corrupted installation, and if its not repairable, a fresh install would be the next step forward imho.

 

Windows startup repair loop BSOD  

Okay. So I did this.





Then repeated the same step and assigned letter to other recovery partition too.
Now I have two visible recovery partitions in Windows explorer.






However, when I go to disk management, and right click on either of the recovery partition, I don't get any options to delete.






I should delete the partition on my HDD as my SSD is the system drive where windows is installed. So I try to delete that partition in the admin command prompt, and I get the same error I was getting before.






What do I do now?
