Windows 10: Pc Keep freezing Randonly after installing a New AMD CPU

Hello I install a new CPU and now my computer randomly freezes. I check to make sure everything was compatible and it was just had to update BIOS to install new CPU. I check temps and all are below 80 C . Now they can happen while browsing edge or playing a game. It not just when gaming. When the freeze happens you can start to access some thing on desktop like other apps etc. , they may stop working. Whenever I access task manger that all freezes too in addition to what all ready frozen. Basically one thing cause it and rest starts to after even if I only tried to open task manger to end task

Windows 10 randomly freezing after upgrade to AMD FX-8350 CPU

Windows 10 is randomly freezing after upgrading to an AMD FX-8350. The previous CPU was a quad core AMD FX 4300.
There were no freezing issues with the previous CPU at all.

The PC specs are:

• Motherboard: Gygabyte 970A-DS3P southbridge rev. 40
  
• Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8350 4.2 Ghz Eight-Core Processor
  
• Video Card: nvidia GeForce GTX 970 (Latest drivers via geforce experience)
  
• RAM: 16 GB 2000Mhz DDR3
  
• Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (build 17134), 64-bit
  (reactivated and updated since hardware change)
  
• Power Supply: Corsair 700w
  

Installed all the latest driver software for all components.

My poor gaming rig is pretty useless at the moment, so any answers are appreciated.

Update.
I have the latest BIOS version, according to Gygabyte.
Latest is the FD release, and it is installed.
I'd heard that people had issues with certain CPU's on older versions.
My CPU is definitely in the supported CPU's list for this board.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
