Windows 10: PC keeps crashing after latest windows update.

Not sure what's goin on but my pc will just shut off randomly. It started doing this about a week ago after the windows update that i did. Here is the event log : 10-12-2024.evtxThe only thing i can see is this AMDRyzenMasterDriverV26 thing. heres the DXDiag DxDiag 10-12-2024.txt 5800x no overclocking other than what the system does on its own. 5700XT GPU Undervolted 32G Ram XMP Enabled Windows: 23H2 Build 22631.4317If anyone knows how to read the event log and see if anything stands out and can point me in the right direction thank you.Chuck

Thank you for the reply and update.

I suggest you to recreate Windows 10 installation media on another USB drive from a different pc and perform startup repair on your computer to check if it helps.

If you need an installation media, I suggest you to download and create the installation media using the follow Microsoft link, which contains the Windows 10 ISO file.

Steps for Automatic Repair:

• 
  Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  
• 
  In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  
• 
  Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
  
• 
  Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Automatic Repair’ and select the operating system.

Latest windows 10 Update keeps crashing my PC

The latest windows 10 Update that brought Cortana to my PC keeps crashing it

Originally it kept crashing before the log in screen

Now I can log into my PC but try to do anything on it and something crashes. It's not the same process that keeps crashing every time to. Sometimes it's a critical process other times it's not. Sometimes it still crashes on startup and it goes into an endless
cycle of boot crash reboot crash and re-peat.

 

Windows Updates crashing and unable to login to PC

As per the manufacturer’s website, your PC is compatible
only with Windows 7 & 8. This could be the cause for the system crash.

If you wish to pause the updates for a while, you may check with the steps listed below in the article -

• Schedule a restart or pause updates in Windows 10
  
  
• Defer feature updates in Windows 10
  
  

However, I would also suggest you to get in touch with the PC manufacturer to know if there are any latest drivers available, that is compatible to run Windows 10 on your machine.
