Windows 10: Pc keeps crashing due to a bug scan Pasting minidump

Its been crashing repeatedly for a while and just need to know what the problem is.

both intel and AMD keep updated lists of known faults for their cpus, its been posted on here before im sure, each cpu seems to have a massive list of known bugs and errors but they chunder away, odd isnt it*Roll Eyes

 

PC sudden crash and minidump

Hi!

I have recently bought a MSI MEG INFINITE X 10TE with windows 10 installed. This past week my pc crashed two times and power went off suddenly, probably due to a sudden spike in cpu temperature (100 degrees) both times. I searched for the minidump and openend it in WinDGB but it's 116 pages long and I don't really understand the problem since I'm not a programmer. Can you help me troubleshooting the problem? PC keeps crashing due to ntoskrnl.exe+42c280

Hello

As of late my PC has started crashing. Happened 3 times in one day. Once was while installing a game which had crashed earlier. The other 2 times was while I was playing another game - one crash felt a bit random, the other was while the game was saving. I am not too sure what's causing this. I've ran Windows' memory diagnostics and nothing came up. I've also ran Lenovo's built in hardware checker and everything seemed fine there. When checking for Windows updates, both suggested updates as well as optional ones come clean. I've also ran chkdsk and sfc /scannow in cmd and neither of those detected anything wrong. My GPU drivers are also up to date. I checked BlueScreenViewer and the errors have the same cause, which just says "ntoskrnl.exe+42c280". When looking it up I read that it can be caused due to memory, but I'm not sure as none of the tests said anything about my memory being faulty. I just don't really know how to proceed and I am hesitant to keep playing anything as frequent crashes like this can cause files to corrupt etc.
