    PC Keeps Freezing After Minutes of Gameplay


    Since yesterday July 01, when I play a game I have tried multiple my PC freezes completely, requiring to shut it down via the power button. I have ran scans, updated drivers and windows, and what feels like everything. My equipment all seems fine, too. I have an NVIDIA RTX 4070, Intel i7 9700k, and 32GB RAM.

    Borderlands freezes and thaws

    I'm positive the steps I took above fixed it. I went through 10 rounds in the underdome (well over an hour of gameplay) without a single freeze. Previously, I couldn't play 15 minutes without at least one freeze.

    Windows 10 Creators Update keeps freezing my PC

    Followed the steps in page; the computer still freezes.

    Downloaded Steam, surprisingly didn't freeze.

    Tried to play my game, computer froze.(Within a minute of gameplay)

    I just can't comprehend how and why on a clean install of the OS it still does this... The game doesn't even have any mods installed, and is medium quality.
