Windows 10: PC keeps losing connection with "default gateway unavailable" message

Hello all,


Lately, my Windows 10 PC latest insider build has been acting strange. From time to time, network starts to drop connection, and when I run the network diagnostic, it fixes by "reconnecting" to the default gateway. It became very annoying lately.

My PC has a fixed address as everything on my network. Default gateway if properly set, and all the other stuff on the network keeps working ok. It is a Realtek network adapter, latest drivers are already installed. I've alreay tried ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew... and nothing seems to work.

Am I missing something? What should I be checking?

Keep Getting Gateway Unavailable Message and Losing Internet

Since putting Windows 10 on my HP Laptop I keep losing the internet connection on my wifi. When I run diagnostics it says gateway unavailable and it fixes the problem by resetting the adapter.

Any help in fixing this issue would be appreciated.

My windows version number is 1909.

Default gateway unavailable

Since installing win 10 I have the following problem

"default gateway unavailable"

my ethernet contoroler is Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Controller

I can reset the card and it works for a couple of minutes or hours, then the problem returns

Any suggestions
