Windows 10: PC keeps receiving ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error for Ancestry.com.

I have been having issues with my HP Envy PC and accessing Ancestry.com. I have read multiple articles and followed instructions to reset, go back to earlier Windows versions, restart PC and Modem, etc.. I'm able to get back to Ancestry temporarily and use it for a while but then I receive the error message, "ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. It doesn't matter which browser I use Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc plus I'm able to access Ancestry.com via other laptops and mobile devices on my network, just not this PC. What else can I try?

For the past few months, I have been having some trouble in browsing certain websites, I keep getting

Err_Connection_Timed_Out error in Google Chrome. I tried Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer but still the same. I even run a command like "ping medium.com"(medium.com is one of the websites I can't go) to see if my computer can connect to the website, I get
Request timeout for all four requests. I guess this must be a problem in the system rather than in the browsers.

I have tried suggestions from
http://www.incrediblelab.com/connection-timed-out-error-fixed/. At first it seemed to work, but now the problem is back and retrying doesn't help anymore. I also run network troubleshooter in Control Panel, still the same.

The number of websites I can't visit is increasing steadily, now I have at least 6 websites I can't go.

The above issue might occur due to certain internet components missing or if the website is blocked in the internet/browser settings on the computer.



Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• How did you upgrade to Windows 10 (via Windows Updates or Media Creation Tool)?
• Did you check if similar issue persists on accessing the account using Internet Explorer?
• Does the issue occur only on accessing Ancestry website in the browser?
• How are you connected to internet on the computer (Wired or Wi-Fi)?
  

Check if similar issue occurs on accessing Ancestry website in Internet Explorer browser on the computer. If the issue persists only on accessing Ancestry website on the computer, run
Internet Connections troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if any of the internet components is missing or corrupted on the computer.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
• Click on View all from the left side panel of the window.
• Select Internet Connections, click on
  Advanced and check Apply repairs automatically option.
• Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooter to complete.
• Check the status after the troubleshooting is complete, close the window and check if the changes are effective.

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

Every time I try to access a survey website - Example: McDonalds I get ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. This is not the only survey website I get this error message on. I am running Windows 10 and
using Edge and Kaspersky Total Security.
