Windows 10: Pc Lagging, Games Stuttering For Apparent No Reason

Hi Everyone,A couple of weeks ago my pc, has the title suggests, became slow in responding to commands, ditto for playing games and it's no longer fun.First thing that occurred to me was a hardware failure of some sort so I checked ALL my hardware and everything appears to be fine:CPU : working fine, temps ok.BIOS: update BIOSGPU: updated driver and hardware working fineRAM: did tests and everything Ok. The hardware is fine and working fine.Hard-Drives: Tested both of them one SSD and one HDD and everything appears to be fineSo it's down to Software and I have tried everything that is availa

Most if not all games suffering massive stuttering and lag.

Hi there,

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, games which I was normally able to run perfectly fine are now suffering from symptoms of extreme lag to massive stuttering for no visible reason...

I've been in contact with Blizzard Support for about 3 separate tickets, all trying different solutions to the problem, but alas everything we've tried hadn't worked... I'm honestly just really frustrated and am really wanting some sort of a fix right now.
Even games as simple as Hearthstone are randomly hanging for several seconds of freezing for no apparent reason. I could list what fixes I've tried thus far and also post a dxdiag and msinfo if needed.

Any help at all would be so incredibly appreciated... thank you!

 

lag/stutter in games

having recently upgraded my cpu and gpu
from a 4200+ and x1950pro

im experiencing lag or stutter in certain games
grid,farcry2,crysis to name a few
i have lowered the settings.but the lag/stutter is still there
now i used to play grid before my upgrade on high settings
with no lag at all
in some cases some of my games ran better

this is confusing cause my system is a lot better than it used to be??
surely my pc can run most of todays games on high settings??
is my pc bottlenecked?
