Windows 10: Pc lags and stutters bad and makes audio crackling sounds

so i can play games fine but say i open spotify while my games open or i open a file video while my browser is open itll freeze a bit and my mouse would go slow and stutter and makes crackling sound in my headset until i close the app but if i hit windows key itll stop just while the windows tab is up until i close the app itll stop and it doesnt always do it with the apps it only happens randomly or even with the xbox game bar id open the game bar while playing a game itll also start doing it

Audio crackles & stutters, goes out of sync with any video, also makes PC lag. sometimes on start up everything is fine till i start up a video or spotify or netflix. Its been doing this for a few days, idk if it was the latest windows update or what.

Specs:

Alienware Alpha i7, geforce, uses nvidia soundcard.

Things ive tried:

reinstalling sound drivers

looking for updates

eliminating cache

nothing seems to help

ultimitaly i,ll reinstall windows if i cant find a fix but that would be very time consuming as i have plenty games and programs installed.

 

Audio Crackling/Video Lag

Hi,

I have had terrible audio crackling, and cutting out the last two days, as well as video lag whenever the sound cuts out.

I believe the problem is ndsi.sys and wdf01000.sys causing massive DPC latency.

All help would be appreciated.

Computer stuttering and sound crackling

Hey,

I've been having problems with my computer for few days. After starting a game, computer starts lagging, sound starts to crackle and stutter. It's really annoying and I'd like to get rid of it. As LatencyMon say, my computer has problems with process latency
and DPC routine execution.

System specs:

CPU - i7 3820, 3.6GHz

RAM - 32GB, 1333Mhz

GPU - ASUS Strix R9 390 8GB

Sometimes one restart works fine but sometimes, nothing helps.
