    PC launches slowly before cpu fan goes crazy before crash.


    Hi so my PC is having an issue of where it keeps crashing after launch. Let me run through what happens. I turn my PC on it looks all fine but when i go to out my login in its really slow and then for some reason my graphics card fans stop working. However, it launches and is stable for a few seconds but then the cpu fan goes crazy and crashes. If somone could help that would be greatly appreciated. PS also i cant remember what windows version it is but im pretty sure its a windows 11

    Hi Somebody50, I have a few suggestions that shouldn't be that difficult.

    1) Check for a BIOS update. While you're at the manufacturers website, check for chipset and display drivers or other recommended driver updates. Please ask if you require assistance.

    2) If your PC is still misbehaving after updating drivers, perform a clean boot to determine if any third-party apps are creating or contributing to this fan issue.

    Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts

    3) Please update your details under "My Computer" and list a model number, cpu and drive info (SSD or HDD).

    4) Check if you have any warranty coverage available.

    There are more tests available if these don't provide sufficient info, one step at a time.

    Hey sorry for replying so late...

    I had opened my cabinet and found out that it is actually only my CPUs fan that makes that noise. I opened the graph in afterburner and found that it was spinning at about 35-40% of its speed. While gaming (even minecraft, without shaders) it starts to spin like crazy and my motherboard starts beeping because my cpu reached 100c.

    Do I have to apply the thermal paste again as this pc is almost 3 years old?

    I suggest you refer and follow the steps mentioned in the article and check if that resolves the issue. Refer to the article
