Windows 10: PC loses internet connection and have to reboot pc to restore have to do this daily

Hello,My PC keeps losing connection to the internet randomly its quite the annoyanceI believe I have fully updated network drivers, but the problem is still valid. My motherboard supports Ethernet and a WiFi combo, Ethernet seems to drop connection quicker than using WiFi but WiFi only lasts roughly 3-4 hours before it also loses connection. I have scoured the web for a ridiculous period of time to look for fixes but have found no solution that works for me besides me having to restart my computer. I am on Windows 11 Home OS windows is up to date. I have run 'ipconfig' in administrative mo

Lose Internet Connections Daily

I just purchased a new Dell computer with Windows 10 and almost daily I lose internet connections. My provider is Spectrum. The modem and router are always on and my WiFi works when this happens, so I assume that it must be a Windows 10 issue (never had
this with Windows 7). The troubleshooter tells me to reboot the modem, but after doing that several times and rebooting the computer, I figured out that there was no need to do that. The only fix is to reboot the computer and lose all of my info that I had
open. Why is Windows10 doing this?

 

PC Internet connection

After recovering from a corrupted win 10 1803 update I have an unusual "bug". I restored win 10 to the previous build and subsequently lost my internet connection. I couldnt get an ip address from my modem. I downloaded the 1803 update to a USB and did the
update, keeping personal files and apps. PC runs fine and I have an internet connection. However when I reboot the computer to finish installing KB4284835 I loose the internet connection. The ethernet wont get an ip address from the modem. ("Ethernet doesn't
have a valid IP configuration"). I have tried all suggestions I could find on the internet to no avail. Other computers connect to the same network via wifi or the same ethernet connection and pc will connect using Ubuntu The only way to get the internet connection
is to update via usb and don't reboot the pc.

Any suggestions.

 

Lose Internet Connection after PC Sleeps

To assist you with the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

Step 1. Checking network connection.

• Let your computer sleep and wake it up.
• Once you see that there is no connection, right click on the Network connection.
• Choose Troubleshoot problems.

Get the details of the error and capture the message that will prompt on your screen. It will automatically fix and reset your TCP/IP configuration

Step 2. Running SCF scan.

• Press Win+X on your keyboard.
• Choose Command prompt (admin).
• Type the command sfc /scannow.

Get the details of the scan.
