  1. Pc made loud noise through headphones, now my monitor is black and keyboard and mouse do...

So i was sitting down letting Steam install a game on my pc when i heard a loud noise come from my headphones. After which the screen flashed, then went black along with the RGB on my keyboard and mouse. Now when I turn my pc on the monitor just stays black along with the keyboard and mouse not lighting up. I have tried reseating the gpu, reseating the ram, changing the cmos battery, and trying a different psu, nothing has worked. Could it be a motherboard issue? Any help is appreciated!CPU: Ryzen 2600 6 Core ProcessorGPU: GeForce RTX 2060 12gbRAM: 24gbMOBO: Biostar A320MH Ver 6.7

    Loud white noise from headphones

After installing Windows 10 I have had this problem about three or four times. Suddenly, my headphones start making VERY LOUD white noise. It stops when I press mute button on my keyboard which mutes windows sounds. Then I have to restart my PC to be able
to put the sounds on without getting the white noise. I believe it has something to do with my Xonar D1 drivers but I've installed the latest from Asus website. I have no idea what to do and I won't like to break my headphones with this.

And by the way I have had the windows 10 running for a couple of months so it doesn't happen on a daily basis.

P.S. I wasn't quite sure where to put this thread.

  3. Loud Static noise from headphone jack

Starting very suddenly, I have a weird issue with my laptop.

I was listening to audio on headphones plugged into the headphone jack when suddenly, very loud static noise started playing over the actual audio. After about 30 seconds of that Windows even crashed saying something about an 'apc index mismatch'

Ever since then, the very loud static noise plays on the headphones when they are plugged in. The built-in speakers work just fine. I have also tried with a different pair of headphones, with the same static noise.

    Things I have tried:

    Windows Update

Looking for driver updates in device manager

    Windows Sound Problems Troubleshooter

If anyone has any idea how to solve this or what might be causing it, I would be very happy.

Pc made loud noise through headphones, now my monitor is black and keyboard and mouse do...

PC suddenly went black, got loud, and mouse and keyboard are unresponsive.

My boyfriend built his computer a couple days ago (maybe 3 at the time of writing this). He's been playing it and monitoring the temperatures to make sure nothing overheats or anything. We were playing Minecraft and his PC monitor suddenly went black. The computer then got really loud (I assume all the fans were working overtime). He rushed to his power supply and turned off the computer since his power button is unresponsive. He tried to turn it back on, but his screen never popped back up. Now he says that his mouse is getting power (it is lighting up) but his keyboard is not. The mouse has only lit up probably 2 out of the 4 times he's tried to restart it.

    His parts list is:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/g6gwCd. The OS is Windows 11 Pro.

When I looked up what it might be, I saw things saying it could be his motherboard, PSU, or that it was simply overheating. However, I would like to be sure before he goes to spend any more money on it.

    Thank you!
