Windows 10: PC No Signal

Hi, my PC has worked for years, I’ve upgraded it many times and every upgrade has worked smoothly. I updated to Windows 11 a few months ago and all was working fine. In the last few days I have been having random freezes crashes but no blue screen and I now don’t have a signal to my monitors, I’ve tried chkdsk and nothing came up, I done a full scan of my PC about two weeks ago and nothing, I’ve swapped GPU’s, taken everything out, dusted and put back in, I’ve just tried to boot with just one RAM stick, CPU, an old GT710 and my M.2 drive which is my usual boot option. wi-fi signal is weak

Hey Jonian,

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Incorrect network settings.
• Network adapter is not working properly.

I suggest you to try the steps listed here and check if it fixes the issue or else contact your ISP for weak signal.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it
