Windows 10: Pc not Booting, posting, monitor and pc stays idle.

I had this problem for almost a year now. First, whenever I want to boot my pc i always need to clear cmos and reseat my memory. i just leave the cmos slot open because it gets annoying everytime and its not mandatory anyways therefore i cant even change the bios settings. If these procedures are not done and started up as a normal computer would, the monitors would just stay black and no signal, and the pc just keeps spinning forever.Even when restarting, I always check if a program wants you to restart because i'm risking my pc to be harmed to restart in a way by manually holding down the

Win10 PC will not stay idle

My Windows 10 PC apparently won't stay idle anymore, because it's set to lock after 10 minutes of idle time and now the monitor will stay on and active indefinitely. Likewise, and more annoying, if I lock my PC the screen will go black after 1 minute, then 2 seconds later it turns back on and it will repeat this indefinitely.

I have found the culprit, but it doesn't make sense and I can't find a fix -- I have used a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse for years and I found that if I unplug the USB receiver, then the PC will lock after 10 minutes (as intended) or of I lock the PC the screen will go black and stay turned off (as intended). If I leave the receiver plugged in and remove the batteries from both the keyboard and mouse, then the computer will not go idle, so I thought the receiver was going bad. I bought a new wireless keyboard/mouse/receiver and plugged it in and it does the same thing, so it has to be an issue with Windows but I can't find anything that works.

When I run cmd: powercfg /requests everything comes back as "None". I turned off the options to "Allow this device to wake the computer" for the keyboard, the mouse and all usb devices but it doesn't work either. Does anyone have any ideas on how to determine what is happening about every minute that prevents the PC from being idle?

 

PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

Made sure all connections are properly connected.

Flashing the CMOS

Tested the PSU

Followed all steps in the user manual

Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
Hibernate once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
  icons.
• Look for Power Options.
• Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
• Set a timer.
