Windows 10: Pc not picking up microphone audio correctly

Hello all,Recently my pc has not being picking up on audio coming from my microphone, the headset itself works fine but the computer either doesn't pick up any sound from me speaking, or it is so quiet it is nearly impossible to hear. This problem is relatively new, as until recently it worked fine. Any help in trying to fix this would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Microphone picking up PC audio

I've been struggling with this for a long time and decided to post the question here. For some reason my microphone is picking up all of the audio from my pc. I have already tried a lot of things.

Mix stereo is turned off

The microphone is not picking up physical sound from my headphones playing too loud because it still picks up sound even when I manually turn off sound in my headphones

Listen to this device is turned off

My microphone basically acts as if I turned on mix stereo but a bit quieter. It's been really annoying me and I have no idea what to do

I'm running windows 10 if it helps
