Windows 10: PC not recognizing the mic of my earpods

Hi, I'm using windows 11 and have done everything that comes to mind when it comes to troubleshooting and yet nothing I have tried works, I've updated my drivers, used different ports etc. Even when I tried out a different headset with a mic, my pc doesn't recognize it. I am wondering why this is and I haven't found an answer yet. Earpod's mic

Hello. I've tried using my earpod's mic on my computer but it seems it does not recognize it, the audio works just fine but the mic doesn't. I've tried to search for a solution but nothing seems to work.

 

Apple EarPods' mic not working

Hello, My IPhone came with earpods that has a built in mic, I play online games from time to time using these earpods and I would really like to use the mic as well so I can communicate with my team, however my HP 1000 Notebook PC does not recognise the
headphones even though I can hear perfectly fine through them, I would really like to use my earpods as headphones and as a mic so I don't have to purchase an external mic. How can I first get my computer to recognise the earpods then configure it to be used
as a mic as well.

 

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
