Windows 10: PC not using 7 ram gb after upgrading to windows 10

I upgraded it yesterday night from windows 8.1, but i could not test it.

So today I got home and went testing it, but my games weren't running like before. So I checked my drivers and they are all up-to-date.

After seeing the drivers I used the command "dxdiag" and I saw that I was using only 1gb of the 8gb I have.

I tried changing it in "msconfig" but it didn't worked.

unable to use >4GB RAM- 32 bit problems remain in W10

Hi,

I had windows 7 basic 32 bit. I was unable to use my installed 5 GB RAM because 32 bit does not allow > 4 GB RAM.
This is a 1990s problem in windows.

After upgrading to windows 10, my system is still running in 32 bit!
Hence, I still cant use the extra 1 Gb RAM, so I cant think about upgrading to my motherboard max of 8 GB.

Can I upgrade to 64 bit windows 10?

Any cost for it?

I'm assuming your answer above is not correct anymore. Am I right to assume that? Also, if I have Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64 bit I can upgrade to windows 10 64 bit and have 128GB ram support? I ask because i just purchased ram upgrade today to 24
gb ram and didn't know it wasn't supported by Windows 7 home. So to clarify, Windows 10 Home 64 bit will allow me to have full use of my 24 GB ram upgrade?
