PC overheating issue on build 19613 and higher

I currently have Build 19628 installed on my PC, and my tablet PC heats up after prolonged usage about 1-2 hours. This issue has been persistent ever since I migrated to the Fast Ring of the Windows Insider Program and installed Build 19613. My PC heats up at an exponential rate if I use it while it is charging, which leads to a loss of continuity in the work I do on my PC. My battery is healthy, it does not drain rapidly, regardless of which battery mode I use. However, if I do not plug in my charger, the heating issue seems to be resolved and my PC heats up like a normal PC does, but slightly faster. My PC does have faster performance ever since I migrated to the Fast Ring, so I guess I can call it even.

Before I migrated to the Fast Ring, I was in the slow ring and was on what is now the May 2020 Update Build 19041. In that build, I had very slow performance and my PC would heat up after 3 hours of usage to the point where I had to put it to sleep to cool it down.

I have just shared my experience as a Windows 10 Insider and I have given similar feedback on the Feedback Hub as well. Hopefully Microsoft fixes this issue by maybe reducing unnecessary disk read and write functions or reducing background tasks to the bare minimum or give us more options for background usage limits. I have run into no issues ever since I migrated to the Fast Ring and I am pleased to say this experience was better than the last time I tried to move into the Fast Ring, when my PC couldn't even function properly.

    :)

  2. PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
