    Hello,I just want to ask how can I upgrade my PC performance. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and it's super fast prior to that, I got 8gb ram and i5 processor. I thought I just needed to upgrade my ram, but it doesn't work either. What to do?

    I understand that your PC is running slow. We appreciate your efforts in providing us the detailed information.

    • Which updates were installed?

    To check which updates were installed recently go to
    Settings > Update & Security >
    Windows update > View installed update history

    Meanwhile, you may want to try the following troubleshooting steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:


    I suggest you run the Performance Tune Up Check and
    check if it helps.

    Method 2:

    If the issue persist, I suggest you refer and follow the suggestions from the article on how to
    Improve PC Performance.

    Note:
    Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS
    settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

    Note: Resetting the computer to factory setting will remove all hard drive data and reinstall the original operating system. I suggest you all you backup
    important files and data before performing a factory reset.

    PC slow and not responding

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.
