Windows 10: PC Projection into external monitor.

Hi all, I'm using Dell Latitude 5420 Windows 10 2022. Right from Monday28/Nov/22 morning or late Sunday evening, I'm not able to use my external monitor which is AOC 1620Wb monitor. Not sure, if it's because of the monitor driver or the graphics driver I updated. Even the monitor driver has been rolled back, but still the problem persists. When I reached out to my organization's tech team, they are able to see my dual screens, but for me it appears to be blankblack screen in my external monitor.

My computer wont project to external monitor

My laptop has suddenly stopped working with my external monitor. When I go to "Project to a second screen" it says "Your PC can't project to another screen. Try reinstalling the driver or using another video card." I have no idea why this suddenly happened.
PLEASE HELP!

 

External monitor blanking often

• What is the make and model of your computer and external monitor?
• Have you installed all pending Windows and driver updates?
• Do you get any error message?

I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates in your PC and also update Display drivers. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: I would suggest you to check and install any latest Windows Updates available.

• Go to Start and then Settings.
• Click on Update and Recovery.
• Check for updates under
  Windows Updates.
• Restart the system and check if the issue is resolved.

Unable to project videos on external display in Windows 10

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

• How exactly are you trying to project the content from computer to external display?
• What exactly happens when you try to project the video on external display?
• Were you able to see any error code or message with this issue?

You might be facing this issue due to corrupted/ outdated display drivers, let us try the below steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: Update/Install the Display Adapter driver.

Steps to install the drivers for the Display Adapter.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Double click on the Display Adapter,
  go to Driver tab, click on Update driver software.
• Also, contact the manufacturer's website and try to install those drivers for your device.
