    Pc ram slot 3 and 4 randomly stopped working


    So what happened to my PC is that I had it idle when it automatically made my screen go black and disconnect which I forced to turn off after I turn it back on I started getting the combination of two yellow blinks and 7 blinks which has happened before and took out the ram like last time I blew inside the ram slot and started doing the same blinking, I realize that slot three and four were not working properly and I have already took out my CPU, ram and GPU also I had ram slots two and four and I’ve already tried places one and three and right know I have them on slots 1 and 2 which I can use

    Thanks for the reply, Yes they are on the Vendors list. There is nothing in my manual that mentions how to populate RAM. I cannot boot to the BIOS with RAM in slots 3 or 4 so I cannot check if its recognised or not.

    RAM Slots 3 and 4 Problems

    Check in the BIOS that all the DIMMS are enabled. If the RAM should be Dual channel you would use the slots like shown before. If they are enabled, it can be a bent pin possibly on the CPU, or bad slots on the MB
