Windows 10: pc randomly becoming very very slow

i have an infuriating issue, where every so often, my computer will slow down immensely, apps stop responding, even the mouse cursor lags. i have no idea what causes this, as there is no way to know and whenever it happens i open up task manager to all of the component load being normal. i am running windows 11 22h2 build 22621.819, my specs are gigabyte a5 k1 laptop ryzen 7 5800h, rtx 3060, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd boot drive, 1tb hdd game drive. i have run multiple virus scans, but to no avail. any help would be greatly appreciated
